Mr Norris Campbell attended Trinity College from 1958 to 1965. He held a Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of the West Indies and ACCA accreditation from the United Kingdom.
Norris served in Senior Executive positions at Trinidad External Telecommunications Company Ltd. (TEXTEL) and later Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) where he was Corporate Secretary at the time of his retirement and for five years afterwards unto his death.
He was a member of the Board of Governors of Trinity College and a member of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank. He was also a past President of the Trinity Old Boys Association (TOBA) and the Trinity College Alumni Association (TCAA) which TOBA became after Trinity College admitted girls to its sixth form in 1987.
Norris’ contribution to the Trinity College Alumni Association and by extension to Trinity College is legendary. He played a significant role in fundraising and promoting the College.
Trinity College Alumni Association recognised Norris Campbell posthumously for his dedication and tireless work in the edification and promotion of Trinity College.
