Mr Dennis Evans attended Trinity College from 1968 to 1974. He holds an MBA from the University of the West Indies and started his career at Royal Bank in the Financial Services Sector and then moved to the Corporate Sector.

Dennis later joined CITI Bank, Trinidad where he held the positions of Corporate Bank Head, Director of Citi Bank (T&T) Limited, Director of CITI Corp Merchant Bank Limited and Franchise Head for unbranched territories in the Caribbean.

In January 2000, he became the Corporate Bank Head for CITI Bank in Poland. In 2004, he served as the Global Relationship Bank Head for CITI in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. In July 2004, he assumed the position as Managing Director of CITI Bank with responsibility for the Caribbean

Dennis Evans has served as President of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce for two terms. He was a former Chairman of the Trade Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago and a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Cabinet Appointed Task Force for Pension Reform. He was President of the Banker’s Association of Trinidad and Tobago and was a Director of the United Way of Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinity College Alumni Association recognises Mr. Dennis Evans for his achievements and his contribution to the Financial Sector and Banking, both locally and internationally.
