Baisden Era

Alison Baisden Era (2009 - Present)

Alison Baisden 2008 to PresentFor the years that I knew Mrs Alison Baisden as principal (2009 – Present) she has greatly influenced my leadership qualities. On my very first encounter with Mrs Baisden I saw how she was a very caring and forth right leader while dispensing her various duties. In my interactions with her i was privileged to have experienced one of the most understanding person to have crossed my educational path. I guess that’s where the motherly qualities come out in her. She seems to be always well tempered, even when all may seem to be going wrong.  She always seems to be available to me or any other student who wishes to have her attention irrespective of all the existing chaos at the office.

For the short time I have known Mrs Baisden I have seen many different sides of her. The protective side (when she picked us up right before some overly suspicious young men were drawing nearer on the way out from Moka), the very austere side (when she gave my class “the talk” about the seriousness of education and the world of work). These are just a few characteristics of Mrs Baisden that make her a well rounded focused principal. She has the leadership qualities that can facilitate the changes necessary within the school to solidify the chances of obtaining one of it’s optimum goals, being the best school in Trinidad and Tobago.

I am sure that my encounter with Mrs Baisden can be echoed among fellow school mates. Though time does not permit me to say more, Mrs Baisden does not fall short of being unquestionably an exceptional principal and will without doubt help in furthering achieve the objectives of Trinity College.
